One of my favorite books is “The 4 Disciplines of Education- Achieving Your Wildly Important Goals” by Chris McChesney, Sean Covey and Jim Huling. They lay out the Disciplines as
1) Focus on the Wildly important
2) Act on Lead Measures
3)Keep a Compelling Scoreboard
4) Create a Culture of Accountability
You can (should) use these concepts in both business and personal endeavors –
The Book was published in 2012. I recently found, in my vast collection of Business materials, an audio talk by Chris McChesney and Stephen R Covey himself! from 2007. Hearing one of the authors give a talk on the concept (already researched for years) presented before the book was in print was in print was interesting and gave a deeper understanding. Imagine meeting Einstein as a teenager.
