I was scrolling through Facebook yesterday and found a local story about a person who needed a Kidney and was looking for a living donor. As I was reading the comments, one struck me

Christopher Hejza  “Hope she gets one..as well as myself need one…”

I reached out to Christopher and offered to share his story . Here is his reply: “that’s very nice of you…my story is to long, meaning I been dealing w this kidney failure since I been 19, ism 40 now..I had a transplant in 2004 lasted 9 years been back on dialysis sine..but in-between I been in out hospital been mercy flighted ,in a coma ,broke both my knees cause of my bones being so weak ,cause of this illness..but I keep my head up and keep pushing..I got a 8 year old son I need to raise and to be a dad still what keeps me going”

I don’t know Christopher, I probably never will but I’ve had an 8 year old (2 actually) that needed raising and know how important a dad can be in a kids life. I know what it is to need anthers help and I Pray for God to put me in a position to help others. I’m a living donor myself and I had a very positive experience -gave on a Friday, mall walked on Monday!! (and my labs show full “NORMAL” kidney function!!)

Please reach out to Christopher for more information christopherhejza465@gmail.com
